Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be outdoorsy to see an ecotherapist?

Not at all! Walking sessions are always at a slow, conversational pace, however we can also sit on a bench or meet virtually.

Where will we meet?

Most of my sessions take place at John Heinz Refuge, FDR Park, or the Wissahickon. I also see clients virtually. If there is a park or outdoor space in Philadelphia that you would prefer to meet at, just let me know! I’ll try my best to make it work.

What do I wear to an outdoor therapy session?

Whatever feels comfortable to you and makes sense for the weather and your day. If you’d like to walk during your session, then wear shoes that will allow you to do that. There is no right or wrong way to show up!

Do I need to bring anything?

I’d recommend some water, and a snack if you’d like. But I’ll have some extra if you forget 🙂

What’s the inclement weather policy?

As long as the weather isn’t dangerous (lightning, hail, etc.) we can still meet outside. If there’s a safety concern, we can switch to virtual for that session or reschedule.
